Privacy

ImageReason's core promise is that using it does not require handing a server your image, your camera settings, or your file names. This page states plainly what happens to each kind of input.

What never leaves your browser

None of the above is uploaded, transmitted, logged, placed in a URL or share link, or sent to analytics, under any circumstance.

Saved kit preferences

Where a tool lets you save a durable preference, such as a camera system, a lens, or a preferred output unit, that preference is stored only in your browser's local storage. It is never transmitted to a server, never tied to an account (this site has none), and can be cleared at any time by clearing your browser's site data or by resetting it directly in the tool.

Analytics

This site uses non-advertising analytics to understand which pages get used, at a categorical level only: which page loaded, or that an analysis tool was opened. It never records an image, a file name, EXIF data, a calculation result, or anything you typed. No advertising identifiers, remarketing audiences, or ad-personalization signals are ever collected.

In the European Union, EEA, United Kingdom, and Switzerland, analytics runs without setting any analytics cookie, so there is nothing to consent to and no consent banner is shown. Outside those regions, analytics uses ordinary, non-advertising cookies. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, analytics storage is disabled for you regardless of region.

Hosting and logs

This site is served as static files through a content delivery network, which keeps ordinary technical logs (such as IP address and request path) for operational and security purposes, the same as any web host. Those logs never contain an image, an EXIF value, or a calculation input, and are separate from the analytics described above. Questions about this policy can be sent through the Contact page.
